The grand tour dayhike of the Big Pine Lakes basin. This route will take you to First and Second Falls, First through Fifth Big Pine Lakes, and Summit Lake. After Summit Lake, there is no official trail, so you end up boulder hopping back to the trail above Black Lake. Highly recommended hike!

The view of Temple Crag from Second Lake is one of the most spectacular views in the whole of the Sierra. It's mind-blowing.
